Our Mission Statement
Lighthouse Youth Orchestra expands equitable access to high-quality, low-cost music education and performance opportunities for youth across the San Bernardino mountain communities. We believe children are our greatest asset and foster a child-honoring environment where participating youth develop a sense of worth, belonging, and creative voice. By reducing financial and geographic barriers in underserved rural areas, we connect young people to meaningful, culturally responsive arts experiences that strengthen individual growth and community vitality.

The Young Artists' Ensemble, also known as YAE, is our most advanced orchestra, and these players often are the group that perform with MountainTop Strings both locally and abroad.

Arrowhead Arts Association is a not-for-profit 501(C)(3) corporation dedicated to enriching the quality of life of the residents, youth and visitors of the San Bernardino mountain communities by sponsoring and promoting quality musical performances and music education and scholarships for local youth from kindergarten through college.

Bear Valley Strings is the strings program, taught by Mrs. Sharon Rizzo, within the Bear Valley Unified School District. This program has grown to over 125 music students between the elementary and middle schools, and has introduced countless children to the wonders of playing an instrument.
